These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the website and services provided by FixPoint Appliance Repair & Installation (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing our website, submitting a service request, or scheduling service by phone, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our services.
Services
FixPoint Appliance Repair & Installation provides residential appliance repair, appliance installation, diagnostics, maintenance, and related services.
All services are subject to technician availability, location, and the condition of the appliance at the time of service.
Service call fee
A $79 service call fee applies to service visits.
If you approve the recommended repair, this fee will be applied toward the total repair cost.
If you choose not to proceed with the repair after diagnostics, the service call fee still applies.
Estimates and pricing
- All estimates are provided after diagnostics are completed
- Pricing is discussed and approved before repair work begins
- Additional issues discovered during service may require revised approval
We aim to provide transparent pricing, but final costs may vary depending on appliance condition, parts availability, and labor required.
Appointment scheduling and access
Customers are responsible for:
- Providing accurate contact and service address information
- Ensuring safe and clear access to the appliance
- Securing pets and removing obstacles before the technician arrives
Missed appointments or lack of access may result in a service charge.
Repairs and parts
- Replacement parts may be new or manufacturer-approved equivalents
- Some repairs may require ordering parts and scheduling a return visit
- We are not responsible for delays caused by parts availability
Warranty
We provide a 30-day warranty on labor performed by FixPoint Appliance Repair & Installation.
This warranty does not cover:
- Parts unless specified
- Pre-existing or unrelated issues
- Damage caused by misuse, improper installation by others, or lack of maintenance
Appliance condition and limitations
We are not responsible for:
- Failure of appliances due to age, prior damage, or manufacturer defects
- Cosmetic damage caused by pre-existing conditions
- Appliances that fail after repair due to unrelated issues
Some appliances may not be repairable due to age, condition, or parts availability.
Installation services
Appliance installation services are performed based on:
- Manufacturer specifications
- Existing electrical, gas, plumbing, or venting conditions
We are not responsible for issues caused by existing infrastructure that does not meet current codes or manufacturer requirements.
Cancellations and rescheduling
We ask that cancellations or rescheduling requests be made as soon as possible.
Late cancellations or no-shows may result in a service fee.
Discounts and promotions
Promotional offers, including $25 off appliance service, are subject to availability and may not be combined with other offers unless stated otherwise.
Discounts apply only to completed services and must be mentioned at the time of booking.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FixPoint Appliance Repair & Installation shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to the use of our services or website.
Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service performed.
